Everything homeowners usually ask before a re-roof, conversion.
Most residential conversions are completed in 2–3 days, depending on roof size and complexity. A standard 4-bedroom home (around 180 m²) typically takes 2 days for the strip and install, with a third day for gutters, downpipes and finishing. We'll give you an exact timeframe in your written quote.
No — you don't need to be home. Most of our customers are at work during the job. We require access to the property and electrical connection (for tools). We handle everything on-site and leave the property clean each day. You'll get a call when the job is done.
We monitor weather forecasts closely and schedule around rain. If unexpected weather hits mid-job, we have heavy-duty tarps to protect the exposed frame and your home. We won't leave your house uncovered. In cases of severe forecast, we'll reschedule the start date rather than compromise the job.
A new Colorbond® roof is one of the highest-return home improvements you can make. In addition to the functional benefits, it dramatically improves kerb appeal. Many of our customers report real estate agents specifically citing the new roof as a selling point. For homes in the $800K–$1.5M range common on the Mornington Peninsula, a new roof typically adds 1.5–3x its cost in sale value.
